How has the W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars Institute impacted your life?
The W.E.B Du Bois Scholars Institute helped me decide on what I want to do when I get older. I decided I want to become a prosecutor for the District Attorney's Office, so I can bring justice to the families of victims of gun violence and sexual assault, specifically. I came to terms with this dream as we discussed police brutality and politics of respectability during a few of our workshops.

What is your favorite part of the W.E.B. Du Bois Scholars Institute?
Although the process of learning can be quite interesting, the best part of the Du Bois Institute is meeting new people. In fact, I met some of my closest friends at the program.
